GARNet 2007

John Innes Centre

Meeting Location
The Annual Genomic Arabidopsis Research Network meeting will be held at the John Innes Conference Centre, Norwich, UK. The venue is located just outside the city centre and is easily accessible by road, rail and air.

Registration
To register for the GARNet meeting please complete the registration form. Please note you will need to print a copy of this form to send to GARNet along with your payment (see registration form for further details). You will not receive full confirmation of registration until payment is received.

Registration will be possible until the 10th August 2007

Your registration fee will include lunch on both days of the meeting and all refreshment breaks.

Poster Session
The poster session will take place on the evening of the 10th of September.
Your poster abstract can be submitted via the registration form.
Posters are to be A0 in size (or smaller) and portrait in orientation.

Oral Selection
The Organisers will select a small number of oral presentations from submitted abstracts. The deadline for abstract submission is 27th July and you will be contacted by GARNet if your abstract have been selected for an oral presentation.

Accommodation
Accommodation is available in ensuite rooms in the halls of residence at the University of East Anglia Campus (UEA) a 5-10 minute walk from the conference centre.
For delegates requiring accommodation for either, the night before (9th), or after (11th) the meeting accommodation is available but numbers are limited. We would therefore recommend that delegates book early to ensure that their needs can be meet.

Getting to Norwich
By car - From London take the M11/A11; just outside Norwich take the A47 (southern bypass) in the direction of Swaffham; the University and Norwich Research Park are signposted off at the next junction. If you are driving from the North or the Midlands , you can use the A47 via Kings Lynn or the A14 as far as Newmarket and then take the A11 to Norwich . The UEA and John Innes Centre are situated on the outskirts of Norwich just off the B1108 which is one of the main roads out of the city. See directions below for maps of the area.

By air - Norwich Airport has regular flights to and from Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Manchester, and international connections to 200 cities worldwide.

By rail - Norwich is less than two hours from London (Liverpool Street) and there are excellent links with the rest of the country. A taxi from the station to the John Innes Centre/UEA takes approximately 15 minutes.

Car parking is available free of charge at the John Innes Centre, whilst a parking permit is required for those parking at the UEA campus please ensure you state on the registration form that you require a permit.

Key collection and Registration
On Sunday 9th September room keys may be collected from the UEA Confernece Office after 2pm.

On Monday 10th September room keys may be collected when you register at the John Innes Conference Centre.
