Insertional Mutagenesis
Arabidopsis TILLING Project (ATP)
http://tilling.fhcrc.org:9366/
EMS mutagenised population that can be screened for point mutations in your gene of interest. Useful if you are making an allelic series.
AtIDb The Arabidopsis thaliana Integrated Database
http://atidb.org/cgi-perl/index
The Arabidopsis thaliana Integrated Database has replaced the Arabidopsis thaliana insertion database. However users can still carry out a search for insertion mutants in a number of populations including those from the John Innes Centre (ATIS), the Sainsbury Laboratory (SM) and Cold spring harbour Gene trap lines. Searches are carried out via a genome browser format that also provides information on, homologous Brassica sequences, CATMA primer locations, micro-array probe locations and small RNA signatures etc.
GABI-Kat
http://www.mpiz-koeln.mpg.de/GABI-Kat/
Blast and Keyword search of GABI-Kat T-DNA lines. GABI-Kat lines are now available via NASC.
Insert Watch
http://arabidopsis.info/insertwatch/
This service from NASC is now provided via AtEnsemble (the NASC genome browser) and allows users to look for inserts in gene(s) of interest. You can register any gene or sequence and receive information via email about all the inserts that are located in that region.
SIGnAL TDNA-Express
http://signal.salk.edu/cgi-bin/tdnaexpress
Salk Institute Genomic Analysis Laboratory
The Salk database provides users with a comprehensive collection of insertions mapped to the Arabidopsis genome including RIKEN T-DNA and Transposon lines, SM transposon lines, Wisconsin knockout FST lines, CSHL genetrap, GABI-KAT and FLAGdb and SAILT-DNA. The user friendly database can be searched by name, function, cDNA or T-DNA, or online BLAST to find insertions in your gene of interest.
Homozygous lines from the phenome ready unimutant project are also being added.
